"Tangy Punch!"

 

 

You'll make a big hit with this Punch recipe ...

 

Grand Glorious Punch

 

3 oz package cherry flavored gelatin

1 C. boiling water

6 oz frozen lemonade or pineapple concentrate.

3 Cups cold water

1- quart cranberry juice cocktail

12 oz bottle of ginger ale

1- pint fruit flavored sherbert

2 trays of ice cubes

 

Dissolve cherry gelatin in boiling water.  Stir in frozen concentrate.   Add the 3 cups of cold water and cranberry juice.

 

Remove ice cubes from tray, and place on the bottom of a large punch bowl.  Slowly pour punch over ice.  Again, slowly pour bottle of ginger ale into punch mixture.  Drop Spoonfuls of Sherbert into the punch, and serve.

Cool Sherbert Punch

 

1 26 oz. can pineapple-grapefruit drink - chilled

¼ Cup Real Lemon Juice

3 ½ envelope unsweetened lemonade (Kool-Aid)

2 C. Sugar

2 quarts cold water

2 pints lime sherbert

4  (7 oz) bottles lemon-lime carbonated beverage - Chilled

 

In a Punch Bowl -- add first four ingredients with 2 quarts cold water.  Stir all together until sugar is dissolved.  Top with spoonfuls of sherbert.  Pour in the carbonated beverage.  Serves 30-35.

Hot Cider Punch

6 quarts cider or apple juice

12 cloves

4 cinnamon sticks

orange slices for garnish

 

In a large kettle, mix the cider, cloves and cinnamon sticks.  Let stand 30 minutes.  Immediately before serving, heat just until hot.  Garnish with orange slices.  Makes 18 servings.
