gave my husband, Dave, and me a grand tour of the vicinity
leading to both Olympic Trees that were planted on
the campus of the University of Southern California
in 1936. One Olympic Oak was presented to the
USA
400 Meter Relay Team, and the other to
Olympian, Ken Carpenter a student at USC who won a
gold medal in the discus category at Berlin.
